Texans need to read this before they fall for the bait and switch that Texas Power Switch has offered in their most recent energy auction.
Texas Power Switch claims there are savings in group buying. They say you receive a “competitive” electric rate by pooling customers together and then holding an auction with energy suppliers who bid on the potential customer business. They add that with more customer registrations for their service, the result will be a better rate.
